Summer hikes<\/strong><\/h3>

Summer is the prime season for hiking in Chistau. With the snow finally gone from the high mountains, experienced hikers and mountaineers can reach the valley\u2019s highest summits. This is the season of the three-thousand peaks!<\/strong><\/p>

Among the most popular \u2014 though never truly \u201ceasy\u201d \u2014 are peaks such as Bachimala Peak<\/a>, the Culfredas Peaks<\/a>, La Forqueta Peak<\/a>, Tuca de Lardana (Posets)<\/a> and the three Eristes<\/a> Gran Eriste, Eriste Norte and Eriste Sur.<\/strong><\/p>

Two other spectacular summits fall just short of the 3,000-metre mark but are more than worthy of the effort: Punta Suelza<\/a> and Cotiella<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Spring HIkes<\/strong><\/h3>

Spring in Chistau is beautifully unpredictable, changing dramatically depending on how snowy the winter has been and how far the season has progressed.<\/p>

Many of the valley\u2019s highest peaks still hold snow well into spring, and together with the magic of the thaw, this creates the perfect time to explore Chistau\u2019s mountain lakes.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Among the most accessible are Basa de La Mora<\/a>, the Barbaricia Mountain Lakes<\/a>, the Pix\u00f3n Mountain Lake<\/a>, the Ib\u00f3n del Sen<\/a> and the Millares Mountain Lakes.<\/a><\/p>

One particularly beautiful alpine mountain traverse links the Sah\u00fan Pass with Viad\u00f3s, passing by more than ten mountain lakes along the way<\/strong>\u2014 including several of those mentioned above.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Autumn Hikes<\/strong><\/h3>

Autumn is the time of year the people of Chistau keep for themselves in the mountains.<\/p>

The days are still long enough, the intense summer heat has faded, and the trails become far less crowded.<\/strong> .<\/p>

Combined with the most beautiful light of the year, it\u2019s a perfect season for almost any mountain adventure.\n\nThe only exception might be the route to Basa de la Mora,<\/strong> whose water level tends to drop considerably after summer, taking away a little of the magic from the final reward.<\/p>

Alongside all the routes mentioned above, autumn is also an ideal time to hike to the valley\u2019s historic mountain passes, such as La Madera Pass<\/a>, the La Pez Pass<\/a>or Chistau and la Forqueta passes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
