Hostel with bar and restaurant
The Albergue de Sin is a traditional Pyrenean building that was once used as the village school before being transformed, years later, into a hostel.
Traces of its former life can still be found throughout the building: the mosaic map of Spain on the terrace — showing rivers, mountain ranges, Portugal and the Pyrenean border — was created by the schoolchildren between 1939 and 1940, according to local historian Ángel de Piré. The wooden floor in the bar-restaurant is also original, dating back to the 1920s.
The Albergue de Sin is “more than just a hostel” for many reasons: its peaceful terrace, its quirky decoration and the special atmosphere that surrounds the place. The rest… you’ll have to discover for yourselves.
